We were introduced to Scott Grover and Art f/x in 2005 when we were preparing our residence in Pebble Beach for sale.

Scott and his team did a fantastic job at completing a large number of disparate repairs/improvements to our property. This included replacing all the kitchen appliances, adding an outdoor barbecue and fire pit, and many other jobs. All were completed in a timely manner. Scott's excellent and long term relationship with his crew were apparent, and their work ethic was incredible.

When we determined in late 2006 to build an addition on our Pasadera residence we chose Art f/x to do the job. This was a soup to nuts project, and Scott and his team took care of all the planning, building department, and homeowners association approvals. The project involved a 600 square foot addition, construction of a pergola, and interior remodeling of another 600 square feet. Scott's crew did the foundation, framing, sheet rock, finish carpentry, masonry, and painting work itself, and Scott did an excellent job supervising the work of the subcontractors he selected for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and the roofing work.

We are most impressed with the completed project.

Scott Grover and his crew have worked on a few challenging projects at The Golden State Theatre, all involving work around historic areas of our 81-year-old building. Scott's knowledge and good judgment, combined with his resourcefulness and flexibility, were a great asset to the restoration and re-use of the theater, a venerated landmark in the city of Monterey.

Scott has a great ability to look at a project from multiple points of view, taking into consideration our concerns about cost as well as authenticity-- not to mention the requirements of the Building Department.

Thanks to Art/FX, the theater has found practical and efficient uses for spaces that up until now had been largely wasted. These projects added great value to our use of the building, without compromising the original spirit of the theater's design.

It is my distinct pleasure to share with you our wonderful experiences in working with Scott Grover and his associates. They have proven to be true artisans from the design through the execution phases of our newly remodelled home. Scott contributed greatly to the artistic originality of our home both from recommendation of materials to creative finishes on varied surfaces from wood to stone.

Scott's contributions went well beyond an execution of task. He sought out original solutions and significantly improved work done by others. He has a true artist's eye and a true craftsman's knowledge of materials. Scott was here for any problem. He consulted with our designer; together they discovered solutions to complex issues.

His crew began earlier and worked later than any other sub-contractors. They were polite, thoughtful and professional on all levels. Their work was thorough and beautifully executed. Scott remains accessible and dependable. The result is a lovely remodel where we are totally at home. We continue to turn to Scott for projects. That in itself is a clear demonstration of our faith in him and in his company.

I hired Scott to do the remodel of my 1930's era Mediterranean home in Pebble Beach,California.Scott was very professional and competent in his work. He was more than willing to help me solve problems and make changes through the course of the job.
